Additional Actions & Background History

Picture
The additional actions selected should be based upon anything that is required but has not been completed (notifications, CPT evaluation, collaterals, home observance, etc.) and anything the investigator needs in order to complete a comprehensive assessment prior to closure.  Also, for any factor that was rated as 'Unknown', there should be an identified additional action(s) that will allow the investigator to change the rating to 'Yes' or 'No' prior to closure.

The background history is analysis of the criminal and prior Departmental history, and their impact on child safety.  Remember, information from the National Crime Information Center and Florida Department of Law Enforcement cannot be replicated.  Patterns should be identified, along with implications to child safety.  Below are a couple of examples for both criminal and prior history.
